Nuray Çiftçi

-Born in Istanbul, in 1959.

-In 1980, graduated from Applied School of Fine Arts, Istanbul, as a graphic designer.

-As an art director, worked for several advertising agencies.

-Created and has been drawing a comic strip named “Baby Bulut / Bulut Bebek” in a daily newspaper, Cumhuriyet, since 1989.

-As a freelance illustrator, worked for some children book publishers since 1997.

-Exhibitions:
2010, "Baby Bulut is 20 Years Old!" Personal Cartoon Exhibition
2006, March 8th, Female Cartoonists Exhibition
1994, "Baby Bulut" Personal Cartoon Exhibition

-Award: 1992, Turkish Society of Graphic Design on Billboard Prize.

-Has two cartoon books and an illustrated story book printed (written and illustrated by herself).

-As a lecturer, has been giving some lessons of design in Doğuş University and Maltepe University in Istanbul since 2007.
